Cloud Blade

VMware Infrastructure has developed into a formidable solution, running many modern applications more efficiently than a discreet physical server can.  Despite this, There will always be niche applications and circumstances where dedicated physical resources are required.  Cloud Data provide dedicated HP Blades with local disk storage, or iSCSI shared storage, to meet the demands of high performance computing.  By maintaining hardware quality and standards across our infrastructure, we can ensure spares are always available and provisioning is as seamless for a physical blade as it is for the VMware virtualised Cloud Server.

In another industry first, we install VMware Infrastructure vSphere 4.0 on every Cloud Blade in a 1:1 relationship between physical and virtual machines.  This allows for each Cloud Blade to be provisioned with the same DR failover available with our Cloud Server product.  Multiple Cloud Blades can be configured along side Cloud Servers as part of an enterprise computing environment for performance intensive applications.
